I liked Jess a lot, the little bit we got to see of her, and I wanted to know more about her. Because I just didn't see Sam falling that hard for someone who wasn't snarky and sassy and strong, y'know? I also didn't see how he could have a relationship with anyone that didn't have some pain/bitterness in -- even if he wasn't actively involved in a physical relationship with Dean -- because there's just so much history between Sam and Dean, y'know?
