one last gasp for help
Feb. 13th, 2023 10:27 pmHey, to all my Facebook/Livejournal/Dreamwidth friends:
First, let me say thank you to all of you for the support you've given to me and my family over the years -- whatever form that support took.
Second, I'm going to ask for (hopefully) one last plea for help. I say hopefully, because Matthew and Megan both start work tomorrow at Metalsa. If they can hang in there, the pay will be really awesome. I only say 'if' because it'll be 12hr days, six days a week, for the foreseeable future. Plus, inside a factory that makes/welds frames for Ford trucks. So, hot inside. The hours will be hard on Megan; the heat will be hard on Matthew. Fingers crossed for both of them, please.
For now, I don't know what's going on with Madisyn's check, but she's going to have to figure it out. In the meantime we have bills that have to be paid. Our car payment, our electric, our water, the car insurance. Groceries.
I'm going to dust off the GoFundMe, if anyone is more comfortable using that. If you can help and don't want to use Paypal, I will post the GFM link right after this. If you can help and want to use Paypal, we're using Megan's account (the money gets to me, no worries, please). Her email is: megan.vanmeter11@gmail.com.
Ideally, we need about $500. Any amount will help.
If you can, please, please help us. I hate doing this. I hate it so much. I know I've asked often; honestly, it feels like I ask all the time. Maybe I do. But my kids start tomorrow, and maybe this time everything will work out in our favor. I won't have to ask any more, and maybe can even pay it forward.
Here's the link to our GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/f446a1b3.
And once again the email for paypal is: megan.vanmeter11@gmail.com.
Thank you so much.
Much love from all of us,
Kim, Matthew, Megan and Madisyn
