yay Saturday!

Ever heard a song that you'd never heard before until you saw a fanvid made using it? I have a few like that, where my first exposure to that song was the vid...and that's all I can see in my mind when I hear the music *g* Barenaked Ladies, The Killers, Depeche Mode, and more, but those are the ones that played recently :)

Being productive again today = \o/

I've cleaned out, thrown out, shredded stuff, folded laundry. Next up is sorting through old photos in preparation for scanning them. (By 'old', I mean OLD -- pictures of my aunt and my mom when they in grade school, and so on.) I've also been to the bank, and sat in McDonald's drive-thru for nearly 20 min. (I wish I was joking, too.) waiting to get lunch for the boys. I have all three today. *headdesk* Thank goodness for the dollar menu.

I have all of my texts ordered and/or on the way, and classes begin on Monday. I'm excited and nervous! It's not like I'm *going to class*, since they're all online, but even so. Classes are: Information Security, Database Management I, Intro to Women's Studies, New Media Literacy. Interesting mix, isn't it? I couldn't get into the Humanities class I needed, and I needed one more so figured the Women's Studies would be good and interesting. I've also warned the boys to expect dissemination of information at regular intervals *g*

And now my windows media player is giving me Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train". All right, then.

it's a me :)

I've been scanning family photos, and thought I'd share one with y'all. I like this picture, but looking at it makes me kind of sad, too, because I don't really remember this person I was; she seems like a stranger. Also, looking at it makes me wonder about the brainwashing done in and by my family -- because I wasn't fat, and yet, I was told I was, and believed I was.
