onward, ever onward
Jun. 5th, 2009 07:56 pmStill waiting to hear on the bump job (I swear every time I type the word 'bump', I think of how people now refer to a pregnant belly as a 'baby bump' and it makes me want to hit something. Anyway.) -- our union people met today.
At the suggestion of my sister, I sat down and worked out numbers and such, so at least I have some idea of things. It's all still hypothetical at this point, and if the schedule doesn't work it's moot, but I'm not committing to anything just yet. Except I did sign up for an eLance account, with the intention of (at the very least) augmenting whatever income I end up having. I need to SIT MY ASS DOWN and work on Big Bang. I don't think it's going to write itself, no matter how much I want it to.
