hey, baby, is your daddy home
May. 3rd, 2009 02:45 pmStill kind of in shock that I finished my first draft of Big Bang in time to submit it. And then I slept most of yesterday, heh.
Haven't been able to bring myself to rewatch last week's ep, yet. May not, until the season is over. Haven't fully processed the ep, or the upcoming trailers, either. I will, however, go hunt Kripke down if he leaves us with a cliff-hanger for the season finale.
I've been mulling over my finances, too, which is always a good time (not). At the end of June, Doug's period of spousal support is over, which means my monthly income is going to see a significant drop. Like, really significant. Right now I'm trying to figure out my options, what I can cut back on, or cut out. There isn't a lot. I have a few things that aren't 'necessities', but not many things that actual luxuries. I'm probably going to end up getting rid of my landline -- Matthew and I both have cellphones now, so having a landline seems kind of redundant. I hope I don't have to get rid of Infinite Passions, but I don't know. I'll have it better figured out in the next month. I'm also planning to ask Doug if he will consider paying extra each month. Not as much as he's paid for the spousal support, but some. And god, I HATE even the thought of having to ask him for anything.
And, this post was interrupted by my mom calling...and I have no idea what else I was going to say. So I guess I'll just go do my laundry and shovel out the sink. When in doubt, do housework, right?
