a mixed bag, here
May. 7th, 2008 04:28 pmToday's a little better. I wish I could get past the dragging exhaustion -- but I'm going to lay down in a few, and honestly? If I sleep until tomorrow, I'm okay with that. I got all the supply/PO stuff cleared out, processed, and taken care of today. (In between babysitting the fencing contractors, that is.) That is a huge relief, and an enormous weight off my shoulders.
And finally, a couple or three story recs:

Still, despite the constant surveillance, Chris reaches out for the lamp, runs his finger tips over the visible glass, feeling the residual heat that seems to nestle against his touch, like the caress of a long familiar friend.
Carefully, Chris picks up the lamp, turns and says, “how much?”
