GFM update
Jul. 4th, 2022 03:36 amHello, to all our friends :)
I've been meaning to do an update for a while. I'll start with a huge thank you, to everyone who has donated to help us out. I just feel like those two little words are so inadequate to truly express my -- our -- gratitude.
All four of us came down with COVID-19 within a few days of each other, so all of us were sick at pretty much the same time. As a result, Megan lost the job she had (there were some other things going on, but that was the primary cause). She and I took longer to shake the virus, naturally, but it looks like we're all (finally!) over it.
It's set us back some, since we had no check coming in from Megan, and only a partial check for Madisyn for a couple of weeks. They gave her the time off, but Valvoline doesn't pay for time off for COVID.
Madisyn's been back to work for a bit now, and Megan has a job lined up that starts on the 12th. We finally have a appointment for Matthew to see a neurologist and an endocrinologist, and with luck everyone will be employed in the next couple of months.
But in the meantime, I'm coming asking for help again. I know it's a rough time for everyone. One day, hopefully, I can pay it forward.
Thank you, a billion times,
A very grateful Kim, Matthew, Megan and Madisyn

And if you'd like to donate, but don't want to use GFM, you can use Megan's PayPal; her email addy is: megan.vanmeter11@gmail.com
