oh, Delicious. So much FAIL.
Sep. 28th, 2011 01:00 amI've seen people posting about the trainwreck that is now Delicious, but I didn't have a chance until now to go see for myself just how bad it really, really is.
WHERE THE EVERLOVIN' FUCK ARE MY TAGS??? Seriously, at least half of them are missing, they're not in any kind of order any more, and just--ARGH.
I'm not a huge fan of changes just for the sake of making something look different...and in this case, I cannot see at all how this version is better than what we had before. I liked what we had before.
So. Some information, by way of
silviakundera, on how to contact the overlords new owners:
If people want to express their displeasure to the new owners of Delicious
Support: support@avos.com
General information: contact@avos.com
@AVOS_com on Twitter
facebook.com/delicious
ADDITIONAL NOTE: AO3 just put out an announcement about what Bookmarking features they currently have (did you know they have a bookmarklet and allow you to bookmark non-AO3 links?) and what they're working on next (better filtering, imports, etc) in aims of eventually replacing sites like Delicious so that we can't get screwed like this again. They're asking for suggestions on functionality & volunteers: http://otw-news.livejournal.com/137668.html
