An odd little observation here: Julian Richings, aka Death kind of reminds me of what Peter Wingfield, aka Methos might look like when he's a lot older...

And hey! Methos was Death in the Immortal version of the Four Horsemen. *g*

It's nothing to do with anything, just one of those weird things that pops into my head every so often.

In other news, I love Sam and Dean and SAM, and SAMMY, um. Sam and Dean, and I'm so glad the show is back :)

Oh my... so I wasn't the only one thinking along those lines tonight? What's funny is David posted something on my FB post about the Four Horsemen, (the post was about our high school football team's annual cross-town rivalry. We are the Horsemen, but it made for a laugh) and the first thing that came to mind was "Death". I hadn't gotten home yet to watch tonight's episode but when "Death" appeared, I got a chuckle.

Tell me you don't look at Julian Richings and think "Peter Wingfield, a LOT LOT older". Because the resemblance is so there. :) (Just as the kid who plays Merlin in the series Merlin makes me think of a young Peter Wingfield. Apparently it all comes back around to him, for me. *g*

You're right. I hadn't thought about it until tonight. I looked him up on IMDB because I knew he was familiar from other shows. I had no idea he had been on HL:The Raven and Le Femme Nikita. Now I remember him clearly. He definitely could be an "older Petey".

I remember having a discussion once with someone that Peter, I think it was Richard Gere and gosh... I can't remember the younger actor, could play brothers in a movie. But yes... he and Julian definitely resemble each other.

I'm gonna have to look up the kid from Merlin. I haven't watched it, but I've often thought he was cute. No wonder, it all goes back to Peter.

You did know that Wingfield left medical school to try acting, right? With parts drying up, he's gone back to school, and before long we'll be calling him "Doctor Methos".
