Master Post for The End Is Where We Start From

I am so happy to be done and be posting that I feel kind of giddy right now *g*

Since getting into this fandom, I've been fascinated with the idea of Sam and Dean as SamnDean if they weren't raised as hunters. Would the dynamic we see on the show carry through if they were just ordinary kids, raised by ordinary, non-hunting, parents? I think it could -- particularly if there's a catalyst of some sort, a major trauma that could send the boys turning to each other for comfort, affection, and love. (And hey, at least John and Mary get to die a pretty ordinary way, no burning on a ceiling or selling a soul/going to Hell -- that's gotta count for something, right?)

I tried to stay true to the characters we see on the show. Hopefully I was successful. :)
