Lovely au take on the boys' backstory. You did a great job of weaving canon into your world without seeming heavy handed or awkward. I loved Dean's devotion to Sam, it rang true even without their military-style upbringing from the series. And as someone who's had to deal with the aftermath of a family member's death, you did a thoughtful and realistic job portraying the grief and overwhelm that comes afterward. To top it off, the evolution of SamnDean's relationship was just perfect. I really enjoyed this!
