Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me. THAT'S how they're ending the ep?? We get ONE EPISODE and then Sam's, what, burning? Dying? going insane? We couldn't have had a little more time before kicking in the uber!angst??

I suppose. Jesus. If Sera Gamble is trying to be the new version of Joss Whedon, she can STOP. I mean, I like angst as much as the next person, but in manageable doses. All season long does NOT count as manageable!

I haven't seen anything since the hiatus was done. I dled last week but things were hairy and I didn't get around to watching it -- I dunno, no secret I thought promoting Sera like that was a bad move, and I've really hated most of this season. I just... have trouble remembering what ever drew me to it in the first place most of the time. I don't see whatever that was anymore. :-( ( ( ( (

I *loved* last week's ep. I didn't hate this week's ep, I just--argh. I don't know. I have mixed feelings about all of it. I don't always remember what drew me in, and then there are bits that remind me, and I'm just not ready to give up yet. Even if the writers are killing the show, I still love Sam and Dean.

I say all of us fans march on Vancouver and take Sera's pencil, computer, typewriter, or her crayons and bust every last one of them so she can never ever write a word again. Then we make her watch every episode from season 1 to 5, so she can see what excellent writing is. \__/

I was so upset too!! One episode is all we got- ONE! and then they ended the episode where they did and let me tell you- me and my friend were yelling at the tv until next weeks episode teaser played LOL

Man, that ending aside, I loved Friday's ep. It was just--OMG. I remembered exactly what drew me in, you know? They were caring and honest and trying so hard to be good and strong for each other. Dean was back to being big brother, and in the best possible way--not like he was trying to stop Sam because he didn't trust him or he thought Sam was doing stupid stuff, but just because he was scared for Sam and wants so badly for him to be okay. And even so, he respected Sam's choices. And Sam! Sam got hurt because he tried to put things right, and he told Dean he needed him!

I just. SHOW! SHOW OF MY HEART! I am totally not bothered by the ending. It's too early for it to mean anything terrible, and from the previews for next week, I'm reliably informed Sam's walking and talking and fine. I'm almost glad they're having him remember now, and not just dragging it out as a constantly looming threat. (That's been another thing I've liked about this season. Things have actually happened. They didn't draw out Dean not trusting Sam after the vampire thing; they didn't even really draw out Sam getting his soul back, once Dean decided it was going to happen. And last week, they didn't draw out Sam not knowing the truth. After 2 seasons of not talking and taking 1 step forward to take 3 steps back, I think it's been really refreshing.)

Though naturally, I am on constant alert for heartbreak. This is as scary as it's ever been, really, because if they take this away from me again, it'll be so much worse than the first time.

I'm totally with you. If it had been closer to the end of the season, I might have been worried, but we've got 9 eps left. No way he's incapacitated/irreparably damaged at this point. It's no different to, I dunno, Dean deciding to say yes to Michael at the end of 5.17--just a cliffhanger for a little drama.
