timing is everything

mickeymApparently LJ will be down for "two hours" for maintenance today, starting at 4p Pacific time. Which is 7p here in the Eastern timezone. IF it is in fact (only) two hours, that takes it right up to when Supernatural starts.
Anyone want to place bets on whether or not it goes over the 2 hours? *sigh*
In other news, I managed to bend my thumbnail forward when I banged it on the car door. We're talking a nail that is full a third of an inch long. OUCH. It also caused it to tear at the edges on both sides, and I can't find my nail clippers :( I don't want to rip it off, because it's below the quick and it will HURT, but I might not have a choice. Better I do it anticipating it, and controlling it, than catch it on something and have it ripped off for me. *shudders*
