Okay, giving the ep some more thought now, and one thing just occurred to me: the demon who swoops in, who tells Gary that he has to "meet the boss" and he'll ask Gary some questions, and Gary just has to say yes...that couldn't really work though, could it? Because technically, it's not Sam. It's Sam's body, yes, but the meat suit alone doesn't/can't give consent and the soul INSIDE the meat suit at that time wouldn't be Sam.

Right?

POOR BELEAGUERED SAM. This would happen to him. Though I totally thought the kid just picked him cause he was huge and hot, not because he recognized the Winchesters.

I'm a little baffled that the kids didn't seem a little freaked out that they had to go back and face their DEAD FRIEND. And that Sam and Dean, no matter how pissed off they are, didn't at least offer to help them explain it or something. That felt a little off to me.

That felt *very* off to me, and it didn't make sense. Sam's warning them that this is Bad Shit, you seriously don't want to do this, and then when one of then dies...that's it, it's not mentioned again? The end had a weird Leave It to Beaver "lesson learned" light-hearted feel to it that was completely not in keeping with the fact that one of the kids DIED.

Just...what the hell happened??? Someone definitely fell down on the job.
