mickeymGroceries have been had. Gotten? Bought. Whatever, I have 'em, and we're set now. I got Thanksgiving stuff (with some short-cut items where possible), I got sick-person food (gatorade, juice, soup, mucinex) and I got some frozen dinners just in case *I* end up sick and uninterested/unable to cook. Also got the kitchen all cleaned up, dishes washed/put away, dishwasher ran \o/ (Though, I about brained Matthew with a cookie sheet while doing that-- "give me the small one," I said, while drying the other cookie sheet. He picked it up and BREATHED ON IT, like, open-mouthed, the way you might try to fog up glass? OI. Yep, re-washed that one right away.)
Now, so long as I don't get sick, too? We'll be good. (Matthew's already acting like he feels better than he did. Not *well*, yet, but definitely better. He moved around some, today.)
Finally got to see Star Trek:Reboot, which, wow! What an awesome movie. I think Gene Roddenberry would be proud. (I had oodles of fun messing with Matthew: "hey, did you know ________ also played __________ in..." "MOM!")

mickeym, because it was my general attitude toward an online journal. At the time I was being coerced coaxed to get an LJ, my thought was, I don't have enough time to write, how am I going to find time to keep up with a journal? Ahahahaha, oh, self. How silly and naive. Anyway, yeah, I thought "what a mickey mouse idea" wrt an LJ, and when I finally got around to getting the journal, decided that was the name to go with :)

hey, mickey! Because I love that song ridiculous amounts.
3. My journal is titled ____ because ____.
The voices in my head tell me I'm perfectly normal seems fitting for me, since as a writer, I HAVE a lot of voices in my head. None of them are telling me to go kill anyone, either, which seems like a good thing. I dunno, it was something I said in counseling one time, and it struck me as amusing, but also appropriate.
4. My friends page is called ____ because ____.
Those other voices in my head, because y'all -- my friends -- are :) I read your entries and "hear" the voices/words, plus it's also keeping with the theme of heads and voices.
5. My default userpic is ____ because ____.
God, icons/userpics will probably be the death of me, one day. Up until pretty recently, default userpics were something I changed only rarely, mostly because I liked knowing that there was one image recognized/associated with me. And then LJ upped the ante by giving us all these extra userpic options, and my world spun 'round. *g*
My current default is the one I'm using for this post, and I love it a really lot because it's Sam and Dean, reuniting. Not in any OMGWINCESTYAY! sort of way (though I'm down with that, too *g*) but just, coming back together after realizing they are stronger together, regardless of their weaknesses.
