Catholic Church Threatens To Stop Feeding Homeless Over Gay Marriage

The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington said Wednesday that it will be unable to continue the social service programs it runs for the District if the city doesn't change a proposed same-sex marriage law, a threat that could affect tens of thousands of people the church helps with adoption, homelessness and health care.

This is why I don't believe in religion.

The church is supposed to help the needy, not hold their care hostage in order to get their demands met. WTF is that? That is NOT Christianity, that is NOT what Christ stood for, what it is is a new form of a disgusting low.

Make people who are already suffering suffer even more over a marriage of people they will likely never meet, know, or care about? Fucking assholes.
