I thoroughly and completely enjoyed tonight's SPN ep. I've missed eps like that; it felt very comfortable, almost 1st-season-ish, before everything got to be YED and psychic kids and Heaven vs Hell, etc. (Which, don't get me wrong, I like the story arcs. Just, I like the other, too.)

So, no spoilers here, but tread carefully, if anyone comments, there may be spoilers in those.

I know I'm in the minority, but I am NOT enjoying the arc with Castiel and Uriel, etc at ALL and was very happy to have a good, old fashioned Monster of the Week episode.

HOORAH I miss episodes like this.

I loved the episode too. Very much. It did feel very S1ish. I loved the lighting, and the way the boys were such a TEAM, and the pretty, pretty car, and it was SO FREAKING SCARY, and just EEEEEEEEEEEEEE! SHOW!!!!!!

though I would point out that I consider this whole post spoilery to me. I don't like to know the mood of an episode, or whether it's arc-based or not, or ANYTHING at all before I watch. Which is why I try not to look at my flist at all after 6pm Eastern time. So it wasn't a problem for me, but just saying, it's not only plot point that some people see as spoilers
