I just bit down on a small piece of chocolate...and one of my teeth that I had the root canal/crowns done on...well, the whole thing just fell out. Appears most of what was left of the tooth came along with it. I can feel a tiny ridge of tooth, but that's it. O_O And naturally, it's closing time and my dentist's office isn't answering the phone.

Oh, fortunately I got ahold of them; I have an appt tomorrow morning at 11:45. It doesn't hurt (yet), and I'm hoping it stays that way :) So I'll still see what I can do about ficcing ;)

I had the same thing happen a few years back. If it hurts, chew some sugarless gum then position it over the broken tooth. Keeps the air and hot/cold liquids off it temporarily. Good luck!
