Offline most of today doing database mgmt homework/test stuff. Yesterday was supposed to be homework/test day, except that got changed to "finish up holiday shopping on account of the ice storm coming in". Good thing I did, since apparently most of my state is now a giant ice-skating rink. Kids were home from school today (Thursday) and will be again tomorrow (Friday). That makes three days THIS WEEK missed due to bad weather. o_O

Because I suspected that was going to happen, after I got home yesterday I sat down and proceeded to do all my holiday wrapping, so I wouldn't have to worry about Matthew seeing his gifts.

Anypoodle, I came online to the news that Yahoo! is being incredibly stupid, and that fandom seems to be migrating enmasse to Diigo. I went ahead and started the export/import process; I'm ohmickeym over there, just as I am/was on Delicious. Then I went to something like skip=75 or 100, to discover that

micalaux posted MY holiday gift story, born to all of the days that end in blue! It's Sam/Dean, and it's gorgeous. Go read it :) (And thank you again, honey!)

Still to do: finish baking. Finish my

spn_j2_xmas story. Mail gifts that need to be mailed. Start (and finish) my holiday cards (I suspect I'll be stopping at the post office on my way out of town Tuesday morning, oi). I also need to figure out what Matthew and I are taking with us, so I can start figuring out packing stuff.

I have a wedding to go to on Saturday, and then Mickey's coming back here so we can do gift exchange with her, me/M, and Justin. o_O

Also still to do: Go through the ever-increasing stack of mail. I know there are cards because a lot of the envelopes are card-shaped/sized. I just need to open them! I have boxes to open, too. I'm dying to see who sent me presents :) And what those presents are :)

I was positive there was something else I needed to include in this...oh! Y'all, I am incredibly, horribly, awfully behind in responding to...everything. Emails, comments (and gah, I owe fic comment responses from weeks ago, dammit), all of it. It might not happen for another week, but I WILL get stuff answered. Just, be patient. I'm kind of drowning in Stuff To Do, over here. *tired smile*

I'm going to bed now, so I can get up and work on that to-do list. Ugh. Love you all :)
