SO uncool

I was supposed to have an interview at 5:30p today, for a part-time admin assistant job.

The woman called me back about 230 (I was downstairs eating lunch, my phone upstairs, so she left a message) and said basically, "we interviewed someone earlier and hired them right away, so thanks for sending in your resume, but never mind."

That's just... not cool, in my opinion. She could've at least let me come in and interview! *grump*

that really does suck - at that point, the least they owe you is a chance to convince them you're the one for the job (or at least to pretend you had a shot at it)

Wow, that seems rather unprofessional. Bastages! ::hugs:: You're too good for them anyway. :-D

I've had that sort of thing happen to me twice in the past six months. Employers figure that applicants are so desperate that they can get away with pulling this kind of junk.
