old-skool fandom (aka for the Sentinel fans on my flist)

I dabbled and played a bit in ST fandom (mostly Voyager), but my first "real" fandom, where I wrote and squeed and obsessed, was The Sentinel. I'm not fannish about TS any more, but it still makes me kind of happy/warm/fuzzy to see references to that fandom -- or pictures of the stars from that fandom.

I'm sure a lot of y'all know Jared's movie Home For Christmas; did you know Richard Burgi played Thomas Kinkade's father? (Also, RB was apparently in F13 with Jared. Who knew!)

Those pictures make me think of an older Jim Ellison, a la the episode "Deep Water" *g* Anyone else?

Have you seen him on Desperate Housewives this year? Holy CRAP but does that man look GREAT. He's constantly without his shirt on and let me say the years have most definitely been kind to him. :-)
