Oh yeah, I totally agree. But because I'm looking to actually become a professional writer, I need to go with the grain on this one. I'm all for breaking the rules, but if it's going to stop me from getting things published, then I have to ask myself if it's worth it. Plus I write better in past tense. But again, go right on ahead. I'm nobody to stop you.
