wow, Kim - I'm practically speechless, and it takes a lot to get me to that point. this story is stark, beautiful, creepy and just about perfect.

I love the way things were set up, it took me a little bit to figure out what happened and what was happening, and the inevitableness of the ending works so very well. not sure where this came from, but I'm so glad you shared it.
